    EARLING -- Zoe Dutchik and Denny Kramer both of Center Point, IA were married on June 30, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling. Father John Frost performed the 2 p.m.

    AVOCA -- Joni Eggerss will celebrate her 84th birthday on October 16. Her children and grandchildren are planning  a card shower to help her celebrate. Cards will reach her if sent to 1510 N.     HARLAN -- Lauren Larsen of Harlan and Scott Opperman of Manning exchanged marriage vows on July 14, 2018 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan. The 2:30 p.m. double ring ceremony was performed by Father John Frost.    Parents of the couple are Chris and Joni Larsen, Harlan; and John and Nancy Opperman, Manning.    Grandparents of the bride are Gary and Rose Ann Larsen, Harlan; and Vivian Lytle, Harlan, and the late Randy Lytle. 

    WESTPHALIA -- Larry and Julie Goetzinger of Westphalia announce the engagement of their daughter, Alison to Eric Croghan both of Earling. Eric is the son of Bob and Janet Croghan, Portsmouth.    The couple will exchange marriage vows on October 20 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Westphalia.

    PORTSMOUTH -- Jill Greaves and Ron “Polack” Prososki both of Portsmouth were married on August 18, 2018 at St. Mary Lady of Fatima Church in Portsmouth. Father David Smith S.J. performed the ceremony during the 5 p.m. Mass.    Parents of the couple are Dennis and Sara Gralapp, Remsen, IA; and Ken and Nancy Prososki, McClelland, IA, and the late Marlene Prososki. 

    EARLNG -- Tim and Ann Graeve of Manilla announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle to Adam Bramley, Urbandale. Adam is the son of Steve and Maureen Bramley, Kansas City, MO.    The couple plans to marry on May 25, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling.

    ROSENDALE, MO -- Phil and Donna Trierweiler of Rosendale will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on August 31. Cards will reach them if sent to 8754 Co. Rd. 57, Rosendale, MO 64483.    The Trierweilers lived in the Earling area until 2006 when they moved to the Rosendale-Savannah area. Phil farmed and also worked in packing houses in the Harlan and Denison area.
